Finally getting my prom with Eric :) although I hate that people don't know how to focus. Booo. I guess I should elaborate on this though. So long story short we were supposed to go with ben, but he cancelled so we did our own thing. We had to go to the mall because Eric was HORRIBLY underdressed. Plaid? He looked like he was going to a hoe down. So we went to express and I was so so so embarrassed to go to the mall dressed like that, but it was a pretty cool experience in the end. As soon as we started walking people talked about how pretty I looked and how they liked my dress. They didn't really ever say it to my face, but we heard them. It made me feel like a princess among paupers. So we went and got him a dress shirt and a bow tie (I was sad he didn't get suspenders) and then we went and got cafe rio and ate it at his house and took pictures there and everything :) then his little sister told us that it was prom so we had to dance so we did and it was really fun :)

Mums the word

First of all, happy mothers day to me. I'm the proud mommy of a beautiful puppy named tank. I love him and he loves me. It's odd though because I keep wishing him a happy mothers day (I'm a crazy dog lady ok? Accept it. I have.) as if he's a mom. And in the littlest of ways sometimes he is. Like how he comforts anyone when you're sad because he can just tell. And how he takes such good care of Lucy. He's a better mom than I'll probably ever be.
But no one is better than my mom. Me and baby bird put her through hell every single day and most of the time, she still makes us feel like heaven. She taught me that even if you're fighting, you say I love you before you leave or go to sleep. Because that will make you realize what is great in life. I've watched her give up so much for my family and I have no idea how she does it. Even though I always complain about her meatloaf, she's always been amazing to me. I love you more than anything in the world. Love, your baby girl.

On a note that I find very funny, we went to my grandmas for brunch today and this is what my aunts boyfriend deems as acceptable dining wear. Wait for it....

Really, greg? Really? You think you can pull of an indiana jones hat, yellow tinted glasses with a sunglasses flap up, swim trunks, flip flops, and a sweatshirt? Really? And that seventies porno mustache. Actually?

Confession

I've prayed for fish to live.
I know it's absolutely insane and I don't expect any of you to understand, but I did.
At my house we pretty much have a regular little fish farm. It all started when I wanted a single goldfish named sam. That fish somehow turned into dozens and we've had some of them for three or four years now. Fish are silly. Parents get them for their kids knowing they'll die. Why not spare the kids some heartbreak and buy them a plant instead? But for some reason society has taught us that fish don't matter. They're meant to die in a few weeks. And we aren't supposed to be sad about it. My dad isn't like that though. My dad loves those fish, I wouldn't be surprised if he has a personal bond with every single one of them. But the other day something went wrong, I don't really know, but they started to die and my dad was really upset. So as we were moving them to different water to try to save them I quickly (and not extremely sincerely) asked god to help keep those stupid fish alive. And against all odds and to everyone's surprise they're ok. On the other hand, I also told my mom that if any of the fish died I would have just thrown them over the fence to try to avoid my dad knowing it died. So when I saw a dead one today, me and my mom did just that. Hid the evidence to save my dad some heartache.
It's all silly. Silly of me praying for fish. Silly of my dad for loving the fish so much. And very silly of me and my mom to go to such great lengths to hide a dead fish. But in the end, it just shows all of our capacities of love.
Ben moves to Idaho in just a couple of weeks. The house will feel so much lonelier and quieter without him. It sounds like a sad house.

Will do, but once again will do it on my own time and not specifically on the correct day, but most likely in bunches as done previously :)

Wrapping April up :)

So that's day 28- 1pm. Studying. That was my weekend. Stressing and studying. Which, funny story was a huge waste of my time. So my teacher was like here's a huge packet containing 500 questions. For our final I'm choosing two hundred of them, putting them in a bag, and you'll choose five, that's it. What did I do? I MEMORIZED 500 THINGS!!! I felt pretty ready for our final and was worried for all the other girls because it appeared that no one else had studied (I literally spent twelve hours memorizing) Imagine my dismay when I pull out my five questions and two of my questions weren't even in the packet. I STUDIED THE 500 THINGS! WHAT MORE DID SHE WANT??? Apparently I should have studied the whole book. I was LIVID. I just thought that was so unfair. And then part of the game was if you missed your question you would pass it on to the next person. HOW UNFAIR. In multiple choice questions it's always between two! So if we didn't get it right for sure the next person would!!! So Mandy (the DUMBEST girl in the class. The absolute DUMBEST) sat in the perfect spot and got all the discarded questions and basically got more points than me! JUST BECAUSE SHE WAS LUCKY. I was SO mad. I still got an A, but that isn't the point. Finals should be fair and that wasn't. They wonder why they're cutting our program?? We played a GAME for our final! They seriously wonder why our credibility of a program is being questioned?! A GAME. For a FINAL. Honestly.
Day 29- circle. And may I also just add how much I hope this car blows up because I hate it so much. I hope it blows up and goes to car hell. It's ruining my LIFEEEEEE.

Day 30- something that makes you sad. WHEN I HAVE TO LEAVE MY PUPPY HOME OR PUT HIM IN HIS CAGE!!! Makes me wanna die. I just love him so much.

And just one more thing that I think is pretty cool :)

Alright, so I went to Barnes and noble because I super duper wanted a book, but when I went there they told me it was out of print, but if I payed in advance the company could print a copy for me. So I did and I am just slightly amazed by the fact that this book was printed just for me :) 'Warm up the press, boys! A girl named Adri wants this book!' It makes me feel kinda special :)

Nates farewell. So long, jockstrap
